Red and White

It snowed all night in New York City as the entire East Coast has been blanketed in snow. I got up this morning and instead of going to Central Park to shoot (too lazy and too cold!) I walked around my neighborhood on the West Side of Manhattan and came across this maroon SUV parked in front of a red wall. How can you resist such a great combo?

Nicely seen and photographed. In a few days all that nice whiteness will be gritty slush. Enjoy it while you can!

  • Devyn on 20.12.2009 @ 12:47

Nicely done... And only moments before it turns black with the city grime. Oh, and red is my favorite color... Always pairs well with snow.

    Love the sparkling finish!

The deep rd hue is like blood. Against the purity of the white, it's a great contrast. The shine on the car body is spectacular!

It's a magnificent shot; the wall with the snow is something else and it appears like a picture within a picture.

I'm glad you didn't resist the combo.

  • LightningPaul on 10.01.2010 @ 13:37

Nice colors and good composition. I think the vignetting is too strong here, especially the nice car becomes too dark.

  • Ken on 14.01.2010 @ 01:38

Love this! I am red with envy? :)

  • SD (Aspherical) on 16.01.2010 @ 18:11
