Neither Snow Nor Rain

Two US Postal Service delivery vans get snowed in during the Blizzageddon a few weeks ago in New York City. Useless fact: The creed “Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds” is actually not the official US Postal Service creed – people just think it is.

Yeah, I know. They certainly didn't deliver in our area when we were snowed in. And swift? I don't think so.

Fun shot! :-) I think it's an inscription on the Farley office building right? My wife is from NYC and took me there on one of our trips.

Looks like a wasteland – they need their own plows. And ha! I like "we look good in blue shorts."

Looks like someone really has his work cut out for him here.. heavy snowfall is always a bitch, though it looks so beautiful.
