The 3 Points

The 3 Points. Manhattan, New York City.

Im incredibly lucky to wake up to this view every day. This shot was taken at sunrise a couple of weeks ago. The twin towers on the left is the Time Warner center. In the middle of the frame is what I like to call The 3 Points: 3 buildings with pointy tops. Im sure you can recognise the one on the right: the Empire State Building. To the left, sparkling in the sun’s light is the [evil] Bank of America building. On a good day I can see the Statue of Liberty way to the south (but that would be to the right of this frame off composition).

Ouah it's always surreal to see those buildings from my little "flat cities" Switzerland :-)

Well I think I'd rather wake up to my existing natural view of fields, cliffs and a wide bay stretching across to An Rinn Peninsula. But if I did live in a city, then this is a view I would love to have.

I'm really digging this. I love how the city looks so clean. There's a nice futuristic feel to this.
