These days my thoughts are with the people of Japan and I find myself remembering my amazing trip there a while back. Im auctioning one of my shots from Japan to help raise money for Japan Earthquake and Tsunami relief efforts. Please check out the auction at flickr, or if you are not a flickr member, you can email me if you'd like to bid on the auction.
nice lighting and perfect exposure! joshi daniel @ 03-23-2011
I miss all these fabulous vending machines in Japan.
You can buy almost everything from the machines.
So convenient. London Caller @ 03-23-2011
A fine capture of the vending machines as lighted. This can be difficult to shoot and you did a fine job of getting an excellent picture. Don @ 03-24-2011
very cool pic ... something about the Japanese, everything looks whimsical! hope your photo sells on flickr! crash @ 03-25-2011
it sure is tragic.. that's a noble thing to do.. rian @ 03-26-2011
Beautiful color and light
Interesting and well-made picture Andrey Samolinov @ 04-02-2011
nice trio... perfect light composition... cool stuff as usual here pasci.it @ 04-09-2011
For a people known --among many other things-- for their strong sense of order, visual acuity in design, I wonder how difficult it must be to compose certain shots. There must be so much going on that the senses must be overwhelmed --kind of hitting NYC after not being there for 10 years I assume.
My thoughts are with them as well. So many years experts and general folk alike have speculated what a major Earthquake would look like and do to Japan and the rest of the world. There was so much focus on Tokyo itself, focus on which may rest all of the shock over the destruction to it's North. Really sheds light on the limitations of knowledge and speculation; how can one really prepare for chaos of this order? For impending doom? Luis @ 04-10-2011
How cool is this!! You handled the light conditions perfectly here! No overblow and nothing too dark. Very nice work! Arjan - PlasticDaisy @ 04-27-2011
