  • One random thing I noticed in regards to escalator etiquette in Japan: In Tokyo, people stand on the left and walk on the right. In Osaka, its the opposite: people stand on the right and walk on the left. Weird, its almost like Osaka is Tokyo's opposite. The ying to Tokyo's yang.
